The Bethel UMC Board of Trustees is charged with ensuring the congregation a safe
environment. Due to the continually rising Covid positive case numbers, the rates reflect a
tremendous increase of those contracting and unwittingly spreading the virus, possibly causing
infection, increased hospitalizations, and possible deaths.
A Trustees meeting was held Wednesday, September 9, 2021, and unanimously passed the
Effective Monday, 9/13/2021,
MASKS are mandatory inside all church buildings.
The Board highly suggests whether you have been vaccinated or not and are experiencing any
Covid symptoms or have been around anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19, to please
think twice before you enter any church functions and possibly place others at risk – especially
our children as well as your family members, your fellow congregation, and our Bethel family.
- The Trustees will reevaluate the situation on a weekly basis.
- The Bethel Task Force will not be reinstated unless Governor Carney invokes another
State of Emergency.
- Reminder Signage will be placed throughout the church & PMH.
- Seating arrangements may be evaluated on a week-to-week basis.
We reserve the right to return to former precautions depending on the status of the COVID virus.
